Employers
Employers may request Prevention, Retention, Contingency Plan (PRC) services
for employees who are experiencing difficulties in maintaining job responsibilities due to
transportation problems, lack of child care or the need to improve occupational skills. PRC can provide
transportation assistance, child care information and referral, occupational skills
training and job mentoring services. The PRC program is administered by the Sandusky County
DJFS, and services are limited to those who live in Sandusky county.
**ALERT-** The following chapters of the PRC Plan have been suspended until further notice:
Ch.1 - Employment Related needs; Ch. 2 - Family Disaster Assistance; Ch. 5 - - Housing-Shelter
Expenses; and Ch. 9 - Workforce Development.
