WIA has a goal of increasing employment, retaining employment, and to increase the earnings of participants by enhancing job skills. Businesses and county officials power the system; individual participants must be willing to earn the benefits of the Workforce Investment Act(WIA). Each person will be responsible for creating his or her own individualized employment plan, and one-step delivery services will help those involved to reach their stated goals. This is accomplished by the use of Core Services, Intensive Services, and Training Services. |
