OHIO FUEL FUNDS
Presented by FIRST ENERGY
We are pleased to announce that if you have electric service from First Energy which includes Toledo Edison, Ohio Edison and The Illuminating Company, we may be able to help you get a payment on your account! First Energy has The Ohio Fuel Funds program to help customers who are unable to pay their bill. To be potentially eligible you must:
- Be a customer of one of First Energy's three companies
- Have a balance of at least $100 on your account
- Provide certain requested verifications- income, identification, social security cards and current electric bill
- File an application for HEAP and/or E-HEAP
- Have income at or below 200% of the federal poverty guideline for your household size
- Have made a payment on your account in the past ninety days
